A weekend
without internet and TV. Our router broke. Means you can’t work from home.
Means you can’t watch cartoons. Can’t google answers when you’re playing board
games to pass the time. I’ve made one batch of Christmas chocolates. The second
kind I’m going to make calls for candy canes and apparently those are not as
easy to find as one might think. But I’ve only checked three stores yet.
There’s still hope.
We’ve also
had some time to talk. About everything that’s really hard and how we feel
about the transitions made. It’s been heart opening and difficult. As of right
now, we’re not quitting but we’re not committing. To life here, that is. The
only thing we’re really committing to is each other. I guess that’s how it has
to be.
