the dead line is set

Soooo, early rise again this morning. Getting up at six isn't too bad though, especially when it gets so miserably hot and humid later in the day that I feel like I'm in China again. I got one coat of varnish on the all the pieces before Gary got a phone call and needed to head into the city. We went with him and that was the end of that day. Then came the storm, then came lunch and then came everything else...
That's just how things happen here, though. Gary has the best of intentions but a to-do list of about a million things and no idea in what order to start. He is a super nice guy, but sort of spacey and we finally told him today that we might be considering not going with him. Because he is probably not going to be ready on time. Probably as in no way in hell.
But we will still wait and see and hang out here in Colonial Beach utill sept 1st and see where things are at then.

It feels good to have the cards on the table, he is really cool about the whole thing and now he is cooking us lenthals and pasta. He eats pasta three times a day, because he is trying to cut down on bread.

Anyways, things are wierd but good. We get lots of good laughs every day... all kind of laughs too, laughs of fun, laughs of despair, laughs of irony, laughs of this f**** mess. It's good experience though, and will definitly make for lots of great stories.
